This is unrelated to rain or the Great Wall, but we had an earthquake! It woke me up - Chris and I thought it was a jet or a military operation or a sonic boom or something. It was totally cool. The weather man said it was a 3.6 magnitude and the epicenter was between Germantown and Gaithersburg. It's my first earthquake!

Wow! I didn't realize DC could have earthquakes. How far away was it felt?

Down to the Reston area of Virginia and I'm not sure how far north. Not a whole lot going on in Frederick, and I don't think Megan felt it near Mt. Airy (or she slept through it). Apparently our last earthquake was in 2007, but it was only a 2.4 and no one felt it. There's our excitement for the summer!
