Behind The Times And Loving Every Minute Of It

A brand new craze has swept the Balla household. New, not to the world, but new to us.

Prior to a few weeks ago, we had never even heard of the fine people of Dunder Mifflin, yet now they have become part of our daily regimen. If not for a chance "meeting" with the crew during a trip to North Carolina when Z came down with a bug and we were confined to a hotel room and, therefore, forced to channel surf, we would have never known what we'd been missing. Credit goes to Steve for making a stop at TBS after noticing a funny scene--you know the one where Dwight makes his speech at the paper salesman convention. "What's this?" I asked. "It looks like some kind of reality show that isn't really a reality show." After watching the rest of that episode, the nonstop party began.

Why are we psyched to be "behind the times?" Well, due to a lapse in our pop culture awareness, we have a seemingly endless supply of episodes to watch. We're down six seasons at the start, so there's lots of catching up to do! I never thought I'd see a show that could give Seinfeld a run for its money!

You know a Scranton road trip can't be far off for us!
