BE PREPARED... shelter in place for 3-5 days.

As everyone in the D.C. area should know by now, a blizzard is in progress. Based on the current reports, the snow could amount to two feet by Saturday night, similar to the storm right before Christmas. We heard on the news that, while it may take a some time for roads to be cleared and for driving conditions to return to normal, people should expect to stay in their homes for up to five days. With this in mind, I think you can probably imagine the scene of mobs flocking to the supermarkets for eggs, milk, bread, and other necessities.

Well, just in case you cannot possibly conjure up an image of an empty bread aisle or milk-free refrigerators, let me help you out.

PS: I guess people really do make French toast after a blizzard!
