Squirrels In My Tree! Squirrels! Squirrels!

This is what it looks like when Blue, as she often does, traps a squirrel in one of our Crepe Myrtle trees. (Click on the picture for a close up view.) Don't worry...She never actually catches one! Either she eventually gets bored, or the squirrel manages to jump away.

PS: Sing the title of this post to the tune of that song where Candice (of Phineas and Ferb fame) has squirrels in her pants.

lol! That's awesome! Did you see "UP?" Dug's like that too. :) Chris and I were driving down the street one day and we saw a hawk on the sidewalk eating a squirrel. The hawk was gorgeous and we'd have pulled over right then, but it was sort of a busy road with no shoulder. We drove around the block four times to look at the hawk and its lunch. :)

Every now and then, we see a bunch of feathers from a Mourning Dove, right next to our bird feeders. Evidently, we are feeding birds of prey as well!
