"We Could Be Halfway To China By Now!"

This was the only thing I could think to say on the day before Thanksgiving, after we had just spent nearly six and a half hours traversing the two hundred miles from Silver Spring, MD to Rahway, NJ. Let's just say that I wanted to saw my right leg off at the knee after all that riding the brake...

Yeah, ever since they closed down Rte 81 one Wednesday before Thanksgiving and it took me and Chris 10 hours to drive to Binghamton, we have put the kibash on traveling during the holidays for any reason at all! Of course, then my parents made it easy for us and moved to California so we don't feel obligated to drive anyway!

The way back on Sunday was much better. We left Jersey at 6:45 in the morning. By 9:30, we had made it to Fells Point in Baltimore, where we had a great breakfast at Jimmy's.
