Li Song Wei

Three years ago, a boy named "Mark" embarked on a great adventure, moving with his family from Xinhui to Silver Spring. Little did he realize that he would immediately have a pesky di di to play basketball with (hui shuo!) and three other Ballas to pontificate on everything from selecting a college to cultural differences between China and the US (as if we really know anything about this!) to the right way of folding and eating a slice of pizza (now this we can say something about!).

Despite all of our meddling, Song Wei, you have turned into an impressive young man. It's not just the perfect test scores (although those are pretty killer!). It's the community volunteerism, tennis playing, and overall quiet way of going about your business that are so wonderful to be around.

May the next stage of your adventure be filled with as much growth as the one you have just ended!

The Princess Diaries

Since I have had mono, I have had to sleep and lay around a lot. To keep myself occupied, I have come up with several activities to do. They included reading my summer reading books and watching The Princess Diaries I and II. The funny thing is that I have probably watched both movies a million times. Knowing this fact, I still continue to watch The Princess Diaries. It seems to be helping me get through my illness. The problem about watching it over and over is that mommy and daddy eventually get bored of it. They continually say that they are going to return the movies to Blockbuster but have not yet had the opportunity . So I guess that means Z and I can continue watching them until they are returned. Luckily, Grandma says that she is going to buy them for us so that even when mommy and daddy return the movies, we will have them and be able to watch them.

By the way, I would definitely suggest these movies for rain days when there is nothing to do or if you just happen to catch mono, but don't be surprised if you become addicted to watching them and feel the need to buy them.
